St Giles, Aintree

in the Anglican Diocese of Liverpool

The Nave and Chancel
The nave and the chancel form the main body of our church.  They are bright, warm
and welcoming areas and include a "kid's corner".

We are lucky to have a Henry Willis organ and a carillon of eight bell.

The Lady Chapel
The Lady Chapel is where our week day services are held.

It is very much a place of peace and tranquility.

The St Peter Chapel
The St Peter's Chapel was created in June 2005, when the former Baptistry was converted in remembrance of our mother church which used to be located on Church Avenue, Warbeck Moor.

                                               The Godly Play Room
Godly Play teaches children the art of using Christian language - parable, sacred story, silence and
liturgical action - helping them become more fully aware of the mystery of God’s presence in their
                                               lives.

Godly Play  is not just about learning lessons or keeping children entertained, it allows children to experience God in their own way through the use of toys and stories.

The Garden of Rest
Secluded just behind St Giles Church is our tranquil Garden of Rest.  A place of peace and silence where the ashes of loved ones can be interred, the garden is well maintained and cared for and offers a fitting place for a final resting place.

The Garden of Rest is open throughout daylight hours.

“I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."
